Donations to support general RCA Club activities

The Rose City Astronomers (RCA) is an active club of over 275 member families offering a variety of activities for members and the general public.

• Monthly Club meetings with educational and instructional programs
• Monthly Club newsletter to members with information on Club business and projects, monthly observing highlights, and astronomy related articles submitted by club members.
• Organized member star parties and trips throughout the year
• Public outreach star parties
• Partner with Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in holding several public star parties during the year attracting thousands.

In addition to costs related to the above activities, the Club incurs ongoing overhead expenses related to the organization and some of the services provided to members and the public, including:

• Telephone
• Insurance
• Corporation fees
• Legal expenses
• Printing
• Website
